Our Process

Thank you for your interest in a custom project by Precision Poolscapes! We want to make building your dream poolscape as easy and fun as possible!  Please look through the following information, and when you’re ready to take the next step, upload any documents and/or photos you can share and submit the completed form below.

Get The Basics In Order​

It’s helpful to have the following items prior to visiting about your project.  Please upload what you can.

  • Property survey (pdf preferred).
  • Property septic plan if applicable (pdf preferred).
  • Project budget- It’s important to know how much money you’re willing to invest in your project. There are many materials and options that affect your overall price. A budget helps us focus our design efforts on what works for you. Typically, a swim ready inground pool project starts around $75k. (This includes the fiberglass pool, pump, heater, filter, 2 lights, associated plumbing and a standard concrete pool deck surrounding the pool, installed and ready to use). A project ranging from 100k to 150k is most common. Enhancements such as an outdoor kitchen/bar, pergola, fire pit, pool house, landscape features, etc. will increase the value and cost of your project as well.
  • Inspiration photos and existing yard photos are also helpful in the design process.

Set the Vision

After we receive the completed form and uploaded files, we’ll call to answer any questions you may have.  Then, when you’re ready, we’ll schedule an on-site or online design meeting.

At this meeting, we’ll discuss your vision in depth and develop design ideas based on your wants/needs, the site conditions, the style of your home and your budget. There is no charge for this initial meeting. (Travel fee’s may apply depending on the project location or we can meet online). The next step will be to create a detailed, custom design (which includes 3D renderings) and a formal build proposal.  A design fee will be negotiated prior and will be based on the requirements of the project (starting at $1,500.00).  If you choose Precision Poolscapes to build your project, this fee will be applied to the cost of the build.

Build Your New Poolscape

Now that we have a completed design and you’ve accepted the proposal, it’s time to build your dream poolscape!  This starts by securing the materials needed to complete the project and obtaining building permits and/or permissions that may be required for your location.  Once Precision acquires the materials and permits/permissions, the project will be scheduled.  Precision will manage the project from start to finish!
